Oncology
Although experimental and clinical cancer research need to be closely linked, advances at the basic level often remain remote from medical application.
This journal works to accelerate the translation of experimental results to the clinic. In each issue, findings from basic research are integrated with currrent theoretical knowledge and discussed in terms of their relevance to the detection and treatment of cancer.
Significant clinical studies from cancer centers around the world are included, supplemented by occasional case studies and reviews.
The importance of the journals distinct function has been demonstrated through a steady increase in the number of readers. Selected reviews of clinical oncology are also invited and published.
