While the bulk of the text is devoted to canine and feline dentistry, the section on primates is excellent, the section on zoo animals provides a wide range of sample radiographs for different species, and the section on rodents and rabbits provides new material that will be valuable to students and veterinary practitioners alike.

About the Authors: Donald H. DeForge graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. He is the owner/director of the Milford Veterinary Hospital and the Animal Dental Center in Milford, Connecticut.
He also operates the Connecticut Dental Referral Service, a referral practice in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery that services the New England states and New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and offers both post-graduate education in dental radiology and dental radiographic interpretation, on site or by mail.
Benjamin H. Colmery III graduated from Michigan State University in 1968.
After graduation, he entered private practice and over several years developed the practice into an American Animal Hospital Association Certified Hospital.
He has practiced as chief of dentistry at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and is currently the staff dentist and oral surgeon at Michigan Veterinary Specialists.
