Advisory Board on Cat Diseases
(01.01.2005) European experts to issue infectious disease control guidelines for cats
The Advisory Board on Cat Diseases (ABCD) held its inaugural meeting in Lyon (France) on 19 and 20 December 2005.
It will develop and issue guidelines for the prevention and management of feline infectious disease in Europe, based on current scientific knowledge about the diseases and available vaccines.
The initiative is supported by animal health care company Merial, following an increasing demand for such information from pet owners, veterinarians and scientists.
