Mycobacterium pinnipedii: zwei Mähnenrobben-Weibchen im Tiergarten Schönbrunn eingeschläfert

„Bei umfangreichen Untersuchungen war festgestellt worden, dass die beiden Tiere mit Mycobacterium pinnipedii infiziert sind. Dieses Bakterium, das wahrscheinlich eine der Robben nach Schönbrunn mitgebracht hat, ist der Verursacher von Tuberkulose bei verschiedenen Robbenarten", erklärt Zootierarzt Thomas Voracek
