International Conference on Diseases of Zoo and Wild Animals 2010

(05.01.2010) On behalf of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (IZW) and the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV) we wish to extend a cordial invitation to you to participate in the: International Conference on Diseases of Zoo and Wild Animals – 12th to 15th May 2010, hosted by Jesús Fernández Morán.

The Conference will be held at the conference centre (VollbildTeatro Recinto Ferial De La Casa De CampoAdresse:) near the ZOO AQUARIUM OF MADRID, Spain.

The online registration at http://www.bayceer.uni-bayreuth.de/zoovet2010/ has started and all participants who get registered until the 31st of January 2010 can benefit from the early bird registration fee.

To foster an exchange of ideas among international specialists from many disciplines working with free-ranging and captive animals. To achieve this aim we have secured an impressive list of plenary speakers and workshop organisers.

In memory of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Ippen, who passed away in March 2009, the “Rudolf Ippen Young Scientist Award” will be awarded for the first time in Madrid. People who feel to qualify for this award - or know somebody who might do - please send us an e-mail to 2010@zoovet-conference.org quoting the award.
