EVECCS Congress 2013

The University of Copenhagen is proud to host the 12th congress of the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. The congress venue is The Marble Hall, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Thorvaldsensvej 40, DK-1871 Frederiksberg (Copenhagen), Denmark.
To fulfil its mission www.eveccs.org/organisation/mission-statement/, EVECCS organises this annual congress to promote the study, development, and practice of veterinary emergency medicine and critical care in Europe.
Main theme of EVECCS 2013: There will be blood
This years congress will centre around the cardiovascular system with focus on haemostasis, inflammation, and cardiology, but also topics such as haematological parasitic diseases, respiratory diseases, the use of biomarkers, neonatology, and anaesthesia will be covered.
Several well-recognised international and national speakers will promote this years theme and share their experience and research-based knowledge in their separate fields.
Please notice the pre-congress day: Catastrophies after dark when things go wrong in the ICU where different national and international specialists share their thoughts and experiences with challenging patients in case-report-manner.
